Human Rights Council

The Human Rights Council is charged with the responsibility of protecting human rights all around the world. The UN is the international authority ensuring that basic humanitarian conditions for all people are acceptable. Many crises that arise call for urgent humanitarian action: the Human Rights Council must coordinate a response to ensure the lives and safety of civilians everywhere.
